UNSW Drone Racing Day
In a pioneering collaboration, the University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney) School of Aviation (UNSW Aviation) and AUAVS are excited to announce a thrilling opportunity for aspiring young aviators. UNSW Aviation is partnering with AUAVS to introduce a ground-breaking Bachelor of Aviation majoring in Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems.
To commemorate this occasion, we are excited to invite students from years 9 to 12 across Sydney to join us for an exhilarating UNSW Drone Racing Day being held in Sydney on 21st November 2023.

Celebrating Aerospace Down Under
Paul Hardy had the privilege of attending and presenting at the Celebrating Aerospace Down Under – Aerospace Industry Symposium, which took place in early October. Industry leaders from both Australian civil and military aviation gathered to showcase the achievements and progress of the aerospace sector. The symposium offered a platform for discussing the industry’s successes and opportunities for collaboration to enhance aviation across all sectors. President of the Royal Aeronautical Society Australian Division, Ms. Emily Hughes, emphasised the importance of coming together to share insights and drive positive changes. The event provided a unique opportunity for networking, knowledge exchange, and the celebration of outstanding achievements in the aerospace industry and AUAVS is very excited to have been apart of it.
DJI Dock Trial Video
We’re proud to have worked closely with the D1 Store team to produce a video introducing the DJI Dock.
The AUAVS has always embraced new technological advancements, and we’re constantly looking at ways to improve our operations and public safety. Recent trials of the DJI Dock with the M30T demonstrated significant improvement in response times, shark detection, broadcasting and more.
