AUAVS has a highly experienced team of UAV Instructors who’ve been delivering UAV training across NSW, Australia, and internationally since 2017. There are 2 programs our trainers deliver on a regular basis;

• Operators Induction Program – operational UAV training: This is a 2-day practical course, coupled with an online theory component. This is the initial UAV training that all SLSNSW Volunteer and Staff UAV Operators undergo and has been delivered to thousands of Surf Life Saving NSW members.
• Lifesaver Drone Outreach Program – school incursion: The AUAVS in partnership with She Maps offers a drone program for school students in Years 5-11 in NSW and the ACT, with a focus on getting more girls involved in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
