HOW THE DRONE-IN-A-BOX SYSTEM WORKS

  • The drone sits inside a weather-protected dock, integrated into a mobile trailer for flexible deployment.
  • The drone launches from the dock, follows a preprogrammed route, and returns to land back in the dock.
  • The system wirelessly charges the drone between flights, allowing rapid turn-around and frequent patrols throughout the day.
  • Live video feeds enabled by Starlink integrated into the
dock trailer for real-time monitoring offsite

AUAVS REMOTE OPERATIONS CENTRE (ROC)

  • Remote Operations Centre (ROC) located at SLSNSW headquarters for remotely based drone operations integrated with key statewide infrastructure
  • UAV Pilots control the aircraft remotely from the ROC, with live video streamed from the drone and the ability to store and share vision in real time
  • Complex and regulator approved procedures for unique UAV taskings
